About Kyoto Fushimi Inari
I’m Haruka Sato, a Kyoto-based hiking guide who’s been walking Mount Inari since 2015. I built this site to help visitors understand what each tour actually offers and choose the right one.
Why this site exists
Fushimi Inari entry is free and the gates never close. There’s no official "tour" the shrine runs. What you can book are independent guides like me who know the mountain, the hours, and the side paths. I’ve written reviews of the four most-booked guides on GetYourGuide because I want visitors to know what they’re actually booking: which guides care about photos, which ones pace the climb well, which routes actually stay quiet.
I’m not the shrine’s official website (that’s inari.jp) and I’m not a tour operator. I’m an independent guide building an independent resource.
